| Thunderpants,
the story:
Thunderpants,
a new British film comedy from the director of the hugely successful
"The Borrowers", is an exhilarating mix of fun and fantasy
starring Rupert Grint in only his second film since his debut as
Ron Weasley in "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone".
The film introduces newcomer Bruce Cook and also stars Simon Callow,
Stephen Fry, Celia Imrie and US stars Ned Beatty (Spring Forward,
Cookie's Fortune, Hear My Song) and Paul Giamatti (Planet of the
Apes, Storytelling).
Thunderpants
breaks all the rules in its hilarious and utterly original tale
of the explosive Patrick Smash (Bruce Cook) who turns his unique
affliction into a very special gift with the help of his best friend,
and science prodigy, Alan A. Allen (Rupert Grint).
Patrick Smash
is a boy with an unusual problem. He was born with two stomachs
and an incredible capacity to break wind. Teased by his schoolmates
and bullied in the playground, only one boy befriends him, Alan
A Allen. Bonded by their playground experiences, Patrick and Alan
form a firm friendship. Patrick dreams of being a spaceman. Alan
wants to be an inventor. Putting together Patrick's ability to fart
famously and Alan's genius, they create a flying machine which harnesses
the power of Patrick's wind.
Together, as
a team, Patrick and Alan are lead into a fantastic and dangerous
adventure which eventually finds them at the USSC Space Centre.
Now, they must embark on a mission in the service of a troubled
US Space rocket. Can Patrick and Alan's special gifts help them
to fulfil this extraordinary mission and realise their dreams?
Directed by
the acclaimed Pete Hewitt (The Borrowers, Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey)
THUNDERPANTS is from an original screenplay written by Phil Hughes

About Thunderpants:
In
Thunderpants I play Alan, the best friend of Patrick. Alan is a
geeky kind of character and he helps out the other boy. The whole
thing is about the friendship between Alan and Patrick. I had to
have my hair permed (they took me to a dresser and it took ages)
and wear fake teeth for the role. I looked like a real dork.
I'm
really proud of the film and hope it's a big hit."
And
he can't resist: "It's the windiest film ever!"

þig langar að sjá lítið brot úr
myndinni (á japanskri síðu), smelltu
hér. Veldu bara "Midium" (hvað með
stafsetninguna?) og sjáðu Rupert með permanent. Hann
er óþekkjanlegur!
